The Netherthorpe Connection
Martyn Webster was a member for many years before he moved to Blackpool to take up a new career. He was a well established flying instructor and latterly the Deputy Chief Instructor at Netherthorpe.
Keith Webster, enjoying an orange juice at Humberside airport, was also on our committee for many years and was Membership Secretary, later becoming Airfield Manager at Netherthorpe.
We have recently lost Sandy Donald to full size following winning a prize of a trial flight when the club was invited to a lecture at Sheffield University on the Euro Fighter. (Sandy - any photographs of your aircraft?)
Clive Butler flies from Netherthorpe as does the Club Sec.
Bob Nash has also undergone training in a Cessna 150.
